This holiday season, LBE is looking for individuals and churches to partner with us in helping make Christmas happen for over 300 school-age children who attend our programs. Most of our kids are from underserved homes and Christmas is always a struggle for our families. As a result, many families face heightened challenges with addictions and violence, and many go without. So we try to ensure that families with needs have food for nutritious meals through the holidays and something under the tree or in a stocking for the kids. We cannot do this alone!
Opportunities to Partner:
- Filling boxes that are “shoe box” size with gifts for ages 6-9, either individually or with your church, friends, or small group. Please drop off your gift-wrapped boxes before Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 600 Burnell Street.
- Making a donation that will go towards t-shirts and hoodies for the children in Middle School and Teens.
- Saying a special prayer for inner city families.
