Living Bible Explorers is currently in the process of hiring two full time, year round staff members. We are actively seeking a North End Girls’ Program Coordinator and a Food Services Manager.
North End Coordinator:
Applicants will have the following qualifications:
- Post secondary degree (or related experience) preferable in youth ministry, education or related field
- Class 2 bus license an asset, willingness to be trained to acquire bus license, a requirement.
- An active member of a church community
- Willingness and ability to work independently and as part of a team of diverse and interdenominational team members
- Ability to lead worship an asset
Position duties will include:
- Children’s ministry program development – find, create, and provide teaching curriculum for children’s programming
- Assisting and leading teaching times as necessary
- Actively ensure children are being mentored and trained
- Recruiting and training volunteers for programs
- Oversee planning and directing of weekend camps with other team members
Food Services Manager:
Applicants will have the following qualifications:
- Food Handler’s Certificate
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in menu planning for large groups
- Experience with inventory management
- Ability to lead and organize a team of volunteer cooks/helpers
- Desire to minister to children and youth an asset
Position duties will include:
- Menu planning and food organization for various ministry events
- Overseeing Winnipeg Harvest pick ups
- Soliciting and receiving food donations
- Recruit and train volunteers for food prep teams
