LUNCH CLUB
Thursdays from September until June, students from General Wolfe and Daniel Mcintyre are invited to our building on Burnell Street for a hot lunch. A short Bible teaching is given before lunch and as we share a meal together, staff and volunteers build relationships with the teens. This program provides an opportunity to connect with the students, schools, and provide a healthy, filling, and delicious meal for our local students.
Drop-In
Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, as well Tuesdays at lunch, we offer drop-in times for students grades 7-12. This is a time when they can come and go, enjoy snacks, and hang out playing basketball, pool, card games, work on homework, or just chat. It’s a great opportunity to get to know some of the students better, and it is our privilege to open our building and offer a safe space for students to enjoy.
Bible Club
Mondays and Fridays during the lunch hour are designated as our “Bible Club” time and are intended to provide a space for conversations about faith and life to happen with the students. We put the basketballs and pool cues away, and invite students to drop in to engage in a Bible study or talk about life while colouring together or playing Uno. And of course, we have snacks.
